Robin R3000 family

BACKGROUND

The R3000 family was a T-tail metal four seater designed by Pierre Robin.
Manufacture by Av Pierre Robin at Dijon from 1980-1996.

Principal models were:
R3000 prototype with 100 hp Lycoming (prototype only)
R3120 changed to R3000/120 with 116 hp Lycoming O-235 (in production 7/84-2/89)
R3140 changed to R3000/140 with 140 hp Lycoming O-320-D2A (in production 7/84-3/90)
R3160 changed to R3000/160 with 180 hp Lycoming O-360-A3A [prototype c/n 107 flown 1/85 but agreement with Socata meant that it did not enter production until 2/88, in production until 3/96]
R3000/235 with 235 hp Lycoming engine. Prototype only (c/n 107 rebuilt); did not enter production.
Note that factory records show R3120 model format up to c/n 137 but the DGAC register shows R3000/120 format for these.
